The official placement report or brochure is yet to be released. As per the data fetched from NIRF report 2023, 6 UG (4-year) and 106 PG (2-year) students were placed during the 2022 placements. Further, the median package for UG (4-year) and PG (2-year) courses stood at INR 3 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively. The  Nagaland University the highest package has not been disclosed officially. However, the course-wise median package is available in the NIRF report 2023. During 2022 placements, the highest median package was INR 5 LPA and was offered to PG (2-year) students. The table below depicts the median package offered during 2022 placements:

Eligibility Criteria
It is the policy of the Nagaland University to offer equal educational opportunities to all qualified persons, provided the following conditions are fulfilled by the applicant.
Eligible students for Major streams (internally or externally) will be given preference over General stream.
An applicant must have passed a three-year Degree Course with Honours/Major with 50% marks and for General stream students of Arts, Commerce and science with 55% in the concerned subject in which admission is sought.
5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category will be considered.
