The aptitude test of NATA may comprise questions of Multiple-Choice type (MCQ),
Multiple Select type (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ) and Numerical Answer type
(NAQ) and Match the following type (MFQ)
The questions will carry 1 mark, 2 marks or 3 marks and 125 questions have to be
answered in 180 minutes. The medium of Aptitude test will be essentially English
language. Some questions may be in regional languages also.
The aptitude of the candidate will be assessed using some or all of the following
techniques:
• Diagrammatic Reasoning – Tests the ability of logical reasoning, using diagrams and
scenarios
• Numerical Reas

The minimum marks required in class 12th board to get admission in government colleges, if you score 120+ marks in NATA will vary from college to college. However, in general, you should aim for a score of at least 80% in your class 12th board exams. This will give you a good chance of getting admission to a good government college.

According to the official NATA 2023 exam pattern, the medium of the entrance examination will be essentially the English language. However, some of the questions may be in regional languages also. Candidates will be able to know the details regarding the use of languages in the examination through the question paper. If the candidates face any problems during the examination, they can always contact and ask for help from the invigilators.

NATA 2023 has only one section. The candidates are assessed on their aptitude and reasoning skills. Under the aptitude section, the candidates are required to answer various Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Multiple Select type (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ) and Numerical Answer type (NAQ) questions that are prepared to assess the basic conceptual knowledge of the candidates in the various subjects that are important in the architectural field. A total of 125 questions are present in the NATA 2023 question paper.

During NATA 2023, the candidates are assessed on various factors related to their aptitude. The question paper of NATA 2023 is prepared after considering these assessment factors - Inductive Reasoning (ability to analyze data and patterns), Diagrammatic Reasoning (ability to analyze drawings and use logical reasoning), Numerical Reasoning (ability to solve simple numerical problems), Verbal Reasoning (verbal logic), Situational Judgment (problem-solving abilities), Abstract Reasoning (general knowledge and their ability to apply it in situations) and Logical Reasoning (ability to recognize patterns, relationships, sequences and more).

As per the official NATA 2023 exam pattern, the total duration of the examination is 3 hours. The candidates will be required to complete the examination within the allotted duration. No extra time will be provided to the candidates. Candidates are advised to improve their time management skills so that they are able to complete the examination within the official time limit. Once the duration is over, the examination will be over and the paper will be submitted. Candidates will not be able to answer any more questions after 3 hours.
