Wildlife biology is the study and management of fish and other non-vertebrate wildlife.The course gives the students exposure in diversity and distribution and biology of plant and animal life, ecology, conservation ecology, etc.
M.Sc in wildlife biology & conservation course is a collaboration between the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) and the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS) Bangalore, and Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS-New York) with the degree being awarded by TIFR.
The scope of M.Sc in wildlife biology: Wildlife Manager, Wildlife Biologist, Wildlife Educator, Wildlife Law Enforcement Officer, Wildlife Inspector and Forensics Specialist, Wildlife Administrator, Wildlife Economist, Wildlife consultant, etc.
