As soon as the NBSE HSLC routine 2026 is released, the students should replan their study schedule. The students should give more time to subjects based on gaps between exams. They should also give more time to weak paper and paper for which the exams will be held early. The students should also give time to syllabus revision, practicing the sample papers and previous years qustion papers.

The academic session for Nagaland Board 10th exams is started with the release of syllabus. The students should now start their exam preparation. For a better result in NBSE HSLC board exams, the students must cover the enitire syllabus. Firstly, the students should prepare a suitable daily study plan and follow it religously. After completing the syllabus, the students should also practice the NBSE HSLC sample papers and previous years question papers.

The students should check the NBSE HSLC exam pattern before starting their preparation. The board releases the official NBSE 10th exam pattern in the form of sample papers. Students can download it from board'w ebsite and prepare for the exams accordinly. In NBSE HSLC exams, both objective (MCQs) and subjective (Short and long) type questions are asked. Each NBSE class 10 exam paper is held for a toal of 100 marks and the students are given 3 hours to write the paper. The students need to secure at least 33% marks in each paper to pass the exams.

The NBSE HSLC syllabus includes the following subjects.
English
Mathematics
Science
Social Science
Elective language or vocational paper
The students should download the syllabus for these subjects first and then prepare a daily study schedule and follow it religiously. It will help them cover the entire syllabus at least 2 months before the exams.

The students should practice the NBSE HSLC model papers to boost their exam preparation. The subject experts prepare the NBSE 10th sample papers considering the syllabus and exam pattern. The students should try to solve it as many time as they can as it give them an idea about the actual exam pattern, type & level of questions asked in the exams. Also, if student solve it in set time, then it will help them improve their time management skill and give confidence for the final exams.

The NBSE 10th admit card 2026 was released in the first week of February 2026. Usually, the board releases the NBSE HSLC admit card at least 10 days before the final exams. Once released, the students can obtain it from their respective schools. We will update this page as soon as the admit card is released officially.

No students are allowed to make request to change the NBS HSLC exam center. The board allot exam centers based on school's location. Students should try to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam starting time.

Students are allowed to bring their NBS HSLC admit card to the exam hall. Without it, no students are allowed to write the paper, Also, the students should carry a photi ID proof to the exam cente. Apart from these two documents, the students should also carry essential stationery like pens, and pencils. Students must note that the electronic devices are completely prohibited inside the exam hall.

After passing the NBSE HSLC Exams, the students should thing of pursueing higher secondary education as per their interest. The students should get admisison in any of three streams- Science, Arts, or Commerce. Students should opt the stream in class 11 as per their interest and career goals. The students should get advice from their teachers and parents while opting for a stream.

The NBSE HSLC Exam results are declared online on the official NBSE website. The board announced the NBSE HSLC result 2025 on April 25, 2025. To check the result, the students need to visit the official website at nbsenl.edu.in. Students can access their results by entering their roll number on the website. After a week or two, schools receive the original copies of NBSE HSLC result marksheet.
