CSIR NET Notification has been released officially. Candidates can now check registration dates, admit card release date, examination date as well results date for coming 2 sessions of CSIR which are CSIR DEC 2019 and CSIR June 2020. So, it is high time to plan for the studies. Registrations will soon take place for Dec 2019 session. Coming to the details which were provided in the CSIR NET the latest notification. Exam mode has been changed to online from offline. Check details for Dec 2019
According to the CSIR NET Notification, Registrations will start from 9th Sept 2019 and till 9th October 2019 candidates can register themselves. Admit card will be available from 9th November onwards. Exam will be conducted on 15th Dec 2019 and on 31st Dec 2019 result will be released. For June 2020
Registrations will take place from 16th March 2020 to 15th April 2020. From 15th May onwards candidates will be able to download admit cards. On 21st June 2020 exam will be conducted and on 5th July 2020 result will be declared by the officials. So, be ready aspirants to score well.

CSIR NET have set certain rules for the candidates who wants to appear in the CSIR Net exam. As per the guidelines those candidates who have completed their Master's degree or graduation of 4 years are eligible to appear in the exam in the subject in which they have completed their degree or with the related subject. You have completed your BE or engineering you are eligible to appear in the CSIR NET Mathematical Science. There is other rule mentioned by the CSIR which says, candidates who have completed their 4 year graduation is only eligible to appear for the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). After enrolling yourself in the Master's degree you also eligible for the Assistant Professor post. Candidate must have a Master's degree or in the qualifying year with minimum 55% (For General/OBC) or 50% (For SC/ST/PwD) of marks without rounding off. For CSIR NET Junior Research Fellowship, they also have to fulfill the age criteria I. e. as follow -
For General - 30 Years Maximum Age

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency twice a year. Hi Samreen, First of all, to appear for the NET exam, you need to complete post-graduation degree, which is minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the UGC NET exam. The UGC NET exam is held twice a year for the selection of candidates for lectureship and JRF. The candidates can apply for their post-graduate subject or its related subjects only. The UGC NET exam includes two paper. Paper 1 is common for all the subjects while paper 2 consists of questions related to your post-graduation subject only.
