The City College of New York (CUNY) holds the 684th position in the Global rankings. In yet another US based ranking (2024), CCNY is notably placed at 105th in the national universities category and 51st in the Top Public Schools list among national universities. Furthermore, CCNY stands at 11th rank for Social Mobility and 39th in Undergraduate Teaching Programs among national universities. On-campus employment: Students on an F-1 visa can work on campus for up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during winter break and summer vacation as soon as they start their studies. To obtain employment clearance from the Office of International Student & Scholar Services, a student must be enrolled full-time, maintain excellent academic standing, and meet all other requirements.
