Both New York University and Boston College are top-ranked universities in the USA for international studnets. But, if we compared them, then NYU is a better research university than Boston College across almost all subjects. New York University ranking is also high as compared to Boston College ranking. Yes, you can apply to the MS programme at New York University Tandon School of Engineering without work experience. To get in, you need a good undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. While GRE scores are recommended for all applicants and required for full-time study, work experience is not a necessity. Acceptance rates are low and admission process is competitive. It taking into account your grades, test scores, essays, and recommendation letters. So, although work experience isn't a must, other applicants who have work experience may have an edge over you.
