Since there are two campuses of NYU, one is located in Manhattan and the other is located in Brooklyn. Most of NYU’s main buildings surround the Washington Square. Important academic and student life buildings include the Kimmel Center for University Life, Silver Center for Arts and Science, Elmer Hobst Bobst Library, etc.

According to the data for 2022-23, the total international student enrollment is over 24,000. As per the 2023, Open Doors Report, NYU ranks first among the US institutions hosting international students. It has 3,859 more international students than the second-ranked institute. More than 11,000 are male students and over 12,000 are female students. India is one of the top 3 countries of origin for international students. More than 4,000 students are from India at NYU.

New York University has 8 campuses. 2 NYU campuses are in New York, 1 in Manhattan and other is in Brooklyn. Other NYU campuses are in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. The Washington Square Campus is located in the heart of Greenwich Village and is home to various academic and student life buildings such as Elmer Holmes Bobst Library, Kimmel Center for University Life, Tisch School of the Arts, Silver Center for Arts and Science.

  • In terms of acceptance rate, Fordham University acceptance rate is 59% for Fall 2024. The acceptance rate of NYU for the Freshman class of 2029 is 7.7%. So, as per the acceptance rate, NYU is more difficult to get into

When writing essay for NYU, students are requested to show that they are unique. Students must tell why they chose this university over others. NYU would want to know about students' personal experiences and achievements that shows how well student is in achivements and their approch. Students must proof read before submitting.

Applying in early decision to NYU can surely increase the chances of admission. It demonstartes a very strong commitment to the university, which will provide a good opinion to the examiner. However, while it increases your acceptance rate but that surely dosn't gaurentee the admission. Hence applicants should give their best and do their best.

NYU sees various things in an individual profile for MS in CS course such as Work experience, LOR's, GRE scores, individual ability, and the courses students choose in ther undergraduate degree . However, considering that the course is very technical, students must have hands on hackathons, coding, hacking (if they are applying for cybersecurity course) and web development. Students can have experience in some of the fields mentioned above to have a good profile and to get into NYU. But students also must meet the below requirement to get into the university:
