With this rank, it will get somewhat difficult for you to get some good government college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre government college, it would be better if your try for some good private university.

Hi Yuvraj,
To get admission into NIT's one must qualify and secure a good rank enough in the JEE Mains exam.
There's no direct admission in any of the NIT's.
Even with the category, one must need to qualify JEE Mains.

From the view of last year closing ranks, I think you cannot get the mechanical or electrical branch in NIT-Patna and it is also hardly possible in NIT Sikkim. If your home state is Sikkim then you may get. For more queries, visit the link:
