One NIT is in Sikkim and same for Mizoram. However, these NITs are quite low ranked due to various factors. Still, it's a prestigious college.

Computer Science and engineering is a great department. If you want admission in NIT-Sikkim then appear for JEE Mains exam. These NITs are new so with a decent attempt, you can get admission.

NIT-Sikkim is far better than BIET-Jhansi in terms of everything, be it facility, faculty and also placements. Last year, NIT-Sikkim's placement was around 6 LPA.
