If you are in general category sorry Hitesh you cannot get admitted in NIT coz minimum number needed in JEE main for NIT is 200 .
But you can try for other private colleges or universities.

Hi Gaurav. I would most definitely recommend you to prepare for exam of private universities. You have Bits, indraprastha university, Vellore, Manipal, srm and such good colleges that don't consider JEE score but take their own respective entrance tests. These colleges have best teaching faculties as well. I would not recommend dropping a year. You may have to explain your decision of dropping at the time of placements and also at the time of interview if you decide to go for higher education especially MBA. Instead prepare for the private university tests. All the best!
