CBSE JEE Apex Board conducts every year Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes at NITs. For admission to NITs the merit/rank list is prepared based on 40% weightage to school Board
marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Mains). The
weightage to school Board/Equivalent examination marks is considered only after
normalization. Entrance to NITs is tough. therefore, you will have to score well both in 12th class and entrance examination.

The scores and cut-offs vary each year, hence I would request you to attempt the paper to the best of your capability. The mantra to success is dedication, commitment and determination. 101% admission can get in nit

around 180 in mains and around 75% in bihar board

for top nits,u must score above 250

above 250 and above 90 percentile in board

I feel NIT and VIT are far better than SRM and Satyabama . But only NIT Trichy , NIT Warangal and NIT Suratkal are better than VIT. VIT is ranked far better than all the other NITs.
