With a JEE Main percentile of 90, a rank of 144,411, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) rank of 24,000 securing admission to top-tier National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) may be challenging, especially for higher branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). But you can actively participate in counseling process which can enhance your chances of securing a seat in a good engineering program.

If you belong to a reserved category or have a low-income certificate, you may get tuition fee waivers under government schemes. Check JoSAA counseling cutoffs for exact details.

Some vacant seats become available during later counseling rounds thus offering you a chance to receive admission. Private universiti

Some NITs have lower cutoff scores than others, so you may get in better if you apply to less competitive NITs. It is advisable to target for certain branches or specializations that have lower demand, leading to a lower cutoff score.
