After completing or the year of appearing 12th class, you need to fill up the online application form for the entrance exam JEE Mains, through which you can get NIT. You have to score 150+ marks to get an NIT. If you are from SC or ST categories, you have to get at least 130+ marks for NIT. Thank you.

You only get placement when you have good skills (professional skills, communication skills, technical skills, personality etc). These are factors that decide your placements. If you study in NIT or IIT but you don't have all these skills, you cannot get placements. So placements do not depend on the college you study in. But yes, IIT and NIT colleges bring the best companies and their market value is more, so their packages go higher than other colleges. Thanks.

You cannot get any NIT college as your score is too low. You should go for any government or private engineering college as per your location. Thanks.

You probably cannot get any NIT or IIIT college. You should try for top private engineering colleges like Nirma university, JECRC, LPU, Chandigarh University, SKIT. Many more are there according to the location. Nirma University is the best option for you. For that, you have to fill up an online form that is available on its site. Then they will shortlist you according to your score in 12th and JEE Mains. Best of luck
Thanks.
