Hi,
Other than IITs and NITs, you can take admission in some CFTI which you can get by the same JEE exams such as IIEST.
But if you want other than JEE colleges, I would advise you to go through state engineering colleges or some private colleges.
Jadavpur by WBJEE, BITS PILANI, VITEEE, etc.
I hope it will help you.

For NIT-K, I would say a minimum of 50-55% to get selected for the 2nd round. However, note that, GMAT or CAT scores are weighted at 70% in calculating the overall score for the final selection. So, problem with the low score is, it will haunt you even after getting a call for GD and PI based on your application. Higher the marks, better is the chance to get a seat. Else, for GD & PI, 50-55% should be good enough.
All the best.

It will be difficult to get a call from any of the NITs or any good MBA college at this score. This score is on the lower side. Score at least around 85-90 percentile which is required to get a call from NITs. Apart from that, a good performance in WAT-PI/GD-PI and good academic profile+work experience (if any) is favoured during MBA college admissions. You can try through other MBA entrance exams or you can try one more year for CAT.

Hello Avadhesh,
It's very nice to see your dream of seeking admission in IITs or NITs. The situation is that IITs accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th but unfortunately NITs do not. Hence, tighten your belt and go all out with aim of clearing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced with good marks so that you will get admission in an IIT. Also, don't forget to score more than 75% in your Diploma.

B.Sc. Chemistry: Admission Process Admission to B.Sc. Chemistry is generally erit based. Colleges which follow merit-based admission process, generally release a cut off percentage for admission to the programme. Students who fulfill the cut-off criteria are then granted admission in the respective colleges. The forms for entrance examinations are also available in the months of May and June and the exam is ideally conducted in the month of June
