Departments:
CS/IT department : This department bags the highest placement packages every year. The coding culture is very good. The drawback of this department is the faculty ratio. Less no. of professors are experienced and most of them are on contract basis.CCN facility is very good and u can visit there any time.

To get admission in top universities/colleges in India other than IITs and NITs, you need to crack the respective entrance exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRM JEE, MOUET, AEEE, etc.
These are some of the national level exams for which students aspire. If you have 90% or above in board exams, then some universities like LPU, Amity University, etc. admit students without entrance exams.
Some universities like SASTRA University takes admission based on board exam marks and also, with JEE Mains marks but it doesn't come under the counselling of JEE.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be the responsible authority for the counselling and seat allotment of JEE Main 2017. JEE Main 2017 counselling and seat allotment will be held in seven rounds. JEE Main 2017 counselling and seat allotment will be not be conducted separately but will be collectively conducted through JoSAA 2017 for 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 GFTIs, which are the participating institutes of JEE Main 2017.
