Yes, NIMCET opens doors for many other reputed colleges other than NITs. NITK Surathkal accepts only NIMCET.

You have to score at least 75% marks to get admission in NITs, IIITs etc. But, you can get any other government or private engineering college based on your rank.

To get into a top NIT you need to score a minimum of 200-220 in the JEE Mains examination. Plus you need to have a minimum of 75% in class 12th to be eligible for JEE Mains.

Hi,
As you have scored pretty well in your 10th, 12th, and B.Tech, you have the chance of getting call from IIT NIT and other good colleges. As your CAT percentile is 58.19 and you are from OBC back ground you can expect call from NIT and other good colleges for MBA. You can have chances in NIT Rourkela, it could accept the score as you are from OBC background and it has two procedures for selecting candidates which are it selects candidates based on performance in group discussion and candidates performance in personal interview. If you perform well in both then you have the chance of getting admission in NIT.

Yes, ofcourse but only if you are capable of applicable knowledge and basic skills with a proper stiff.
If no, it may not be possible only in IITs or NITs but also in any other institutes.

Yes, of course you are eligible. I would like to tell you, from this year on wards, the weightage of class 12th marks has been removed, so you need not to worry about your marks. Just prepare hard and enjoy.
