According to your marks in JEE you will end up with any NITs, but CSE might not be easy for you.

As per you rank your chances are very slim for admission in NIT'S and IIIT'S, however you may check here for more insights:

If he got the branch of his choice in any NIT's then only send him to NIT's, but as you said he got very good rank in VIT so he can get good branches there. Send him to VIT, Vellore, because as per the latest NIRF ranking VIT secures 13th position surpassing many IITs and NITs.
