250+ are required in order to get a good NIT as you resides in UP, it is easy for you to get into NIT Allahabad with home state quota. You need a total score of 180+ in mains to get NIT Allahabad college with the core branch.

Hello,
State code of eligibility is the state from where you have cleared class 12th, there is not any kind of state rank in JEE Mains, however, you will get some domicile preference in the NITs of your state.

Hello Preetham,
As per your rank in VIT, you will not get top branches like CSE, it and ECE and considering your JEE score, you may get CSE in lower NITs, but for more insights, check here:
