Once downloaded, candidates must keep them safely until admission is over. The hall ticket is a important document that one must not forget to carry to the test center on the day of exam. Those who fail to carry will not be allowed to appear

No, without the admit card aspirants will not be allowed to appear in the exam. Candidates must ensure that they carry at least two printed copies of the admit card to the exam centre. The admit card's hard copy is mandatory to be presented at the time of appearing in the exam. The hard copy/print out of the NLSAT admit card is the only valid proof of identification and verification which is acceptable at the NLSAT test centre. Candidates failing to produce the NLSAT admit card at the test centre in hard copy format will not be allowed to centre the test centre.

The NLSIU Bengaluru will release the NLSAT 2026 Admit Card atleast 15 days before the exam. Candidates can download NLSAT 2026 admit card from the official website - admissions.nls.ac.in. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to appear in the exam without NLSAT Admit Card 2026. The NLSIU Bengaluru will issue NLSAT 2026 Admit Card to only those who have filled the NLSAT Application Form 2026 carefully.

NLSAT 2026 Exam Date has not been announced yet.  The admit card will be issued to candidates who have successfully applied for the exam. Candidates will be able to download their hall ticket from nls.ac.in. They can login with Username and Password as registered to access the admit card.

You can refer to any book you want there is no restrictions on it. The focus should be on quality preparation. You should solve old question papers and take lots of practise tests in addition to consulting the well known literature.

Yes, the NLSAT exam has negative marking of -0.25 marks for wrong attempt. Unanswered questions have no negative marking. Candidates must select questions to solve very carefully in the NLSAT exam. They should solve only those questions which they know they can solve accurately.

  • For every correct answer, candidates are awarded one mark

  • For every wrong attempt, 0.25 marks are deducted from their total score 

  • No marks are awarded or deducted for questions not left un-attempted

Candidates were advised to prepare for NLSAT 2026 by following the simple steps given below:

  • Make a monthly and weekly timetable and keep the syllabus handy
  • Do not leave any topic, make sure you cover all the topics. Do try and finish on time so you have enough time for revision
  • Pratice as many as mock tests possible. Practice the tests frequently and analyze it to recognize your weak and strong areas. This will help you to know which topic requires work.
