In the previous sessions of NMIMS NPAT exam, there was a section for General Knowledge. Candidates had toi answer questions from static GK as well as current affairs. However, SVKMs NMIMS do not have questions from GK section after 2020 exam session. The three core sections of NPAT exam are

  • Verbal Reasoning: This section includes questions to test English Proficiency of the candidate.
  • Logical Reasoning: This section includes questions to measure the ability or aptitude to reason logically.
  • Quantitative Reasoning: This section includes questions to gauge the basic mathematical skills of the candidate.

SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with as many as three sections. NMIMS NPAT exam is a gateway for admission to Bachelor courses from the following streams:

  • Commerce
  • Econmics
  • Liberal Arts
  • Branding & Advertising
  • International Studies
  • Management

The NPAT exam syllabus for all the streams mentioned above is identical. Candidates need to answer questions from Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning while taking the NPAT exam. Three sections in NPAT exam is at par with any other bachelor's level competitive exam in the country.

Guidelines for uploading photo in NPAT application form include meeting the specifications and basic rules that would not hamper the clarity and view of the picture. SVKMs NMIMS can reject the candidature if candidates do not meet the image upload guidelines.

SVKMs NMIMS releases the NPAT application form in the first week of December. Candidates aspiring for admission to courses after Class 12 offered by any of the campuses of NMIMS must apply for the NPAT exam. NMIMS NPAT exam acts as a gateway for admission to UG courses. NPAT registration window is facilitated on the official exam website along with the release of the NPAT admission handout. Candidates can fill the NPAT form online along with the payment of registration fee. Candidates completing the NPAT application form submission are allowed to appear for the exam as per the schedule.

Candidates must know the meanings of underlined words in sentences, and use of appropriate words in given context.
