Both GNM and ANM Nurses are trained to provide medical aid to people in need, but their workplace, career scope, and salary prospects differ. ANM students are trained to provide primary medical care, whereas GNM students are trained to work as Registered Nurses.
ANM Nurses work in healthcare facilities and get decent salaries, whereas GNMs know about working for a wide range of facilities such as Forensics, Communities, etc., increasing their chances of earning higher packages. However, with relevant experience and expertise, you can go for higher positions.

To opt for the right GNM college, its important to see aspects like accreditation, curriculum quality, training options, faculty expertise, placement records, infrastructure, hostel facilities (if required), location, reputation, student reviews, etc. It will help you ensure the college is recognised by the appropriate authorities and will provide you a comprehensive nursing education with good placement opportunities.
