GNM admissions in Karnataka in 2025 are being conducted by Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (KSDNEB). 

For 2025, the GNM application forms are expected to be released in August 2025.

After form release, merit lists and counselling/seat‑allotment are tentatively scheduled around August–September 2025.

Yes, there are indications that some campuses of MMU do not admit male students into General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). 

For MMU, Ambala / Sadopur — one listing explicitly states for GNM: "this course is only provided for the female.

Online guide of GNM courses across India states that “male candidates may be admitted” in GNM generally. 

Another page about the GNM course at MMU (Mullana/Ambala) shows GNM is offered — but it does not clearly specify male eligibility.

Yes you can do B.Sc in nursing through distance mode.

This programme is specifically designed for nurses with a Diploma (like your GNM) to upgrade their qualifications and is recognised by the INC.

Clinical training: While some parts of the degree can be completed online, nursing is considered a professional course that requires hands-on, in-person clinical training, so a purely distance-based B.Sc. Nursing is not recognized. 

No you can't. However you can do Post B.Sc. Nursing after GNM.

WBJEEB, the official exam conducting body, has released a list of official test center zones where the West Bengal ANM GNM 2025 exam will be conducted on October 19, 2025. At the time of filling out the West Bengal ANM GNM application form, candidates will have to choose the preferred test center zone out of all the choices available in the vicinity of their home.
