Candidates must complete Class 12 with English and at least 40% aggregate in qualifying exam to apply for GNM at Assam Institute of Nursing. Aspirants also eligible from state open schools (State Government) and National Institute of Open Schooling (Central Government). Students from Science background are preferred.
Aspiranst who have passed Class 12 with English having a minimum of 40% aggregate in Vocational ANM course can also apply for GNM.

Assam Institute of Nursing offers General Nursing and Midwifery programme at Diploma level for three-years. The course also includes internship. There is a preliminay period of 12 weeks before clinical duties. Any increase in duration mandated by the council is not institute funded and is subject to change.

No, as per the eligibility criteria defined by WBJEEB, a bihar domiciled candidates does not qualify to appear or apply for the entrance exam. He/she will not be able to apply for the government colleges in the state.

No, as per the criteria mentioned by the WBJEEB, those candidates who are 17 to 27 years can apply for the WB ANM/GNM entrance exam. A 30-year-old aspirant is not eligible to appear for the entrance.
