KCET is only for the Karnataka students and PESSAT is for all other students. Even Karnataka students can sit for PESSAT. The last date for applying for PESSAT was April 10, 2018.

PES University is better than MIT Manipal. It is popularly known for placements in CSE.

You can get admission in most of the top engineering colleges in Bangalore, but not PESU.

The fee for management quota for the year 2017 mechanical was 6 lakhs per year and for 2016, it was 5 lakhs per year. The fee structure is expected to increase this year also.

The admission is based on 2 exams PESSAT and KCET. PESSAT is conducted by the college itself. The campus is good. Some part of the college campus, for now, is under construction.
