Hi Mohan,
I will suggest you to not go as per your father. If you are interested in engineering, you must go for it. Secondly make your father sit in front of you and convince him politely. Tell him that you will never be able to get successful if you get into pharmacy because that is not where your interest lies and will remain unsatisfied even after getting success in it. Request him to not force you to get into pharmacy.
But on the other hand, if you have already taken it, I would suggest you to put every effort to become successful in it even if you don't want to. May be then he will realize his mistake and will allow you to pursue

These days, there are precise or specialized MBA courses. In health care industry, MBA in hospital management and MBA in pharmaceutical management are most sought after courses.

There is no law which prohibit simultaneous study of Diploma in Pharmacy and BA as a private candidate. However, if you are doing both under same university, you may have to seek registrar prior permission as some universities discourage this practice.

You can opt for any specialization. In my opinion, pursue MBA because MBA gives you better future ,in terms of the job opportunities. You will earn better after completing MBA.

At B.Pharm level, you won't be able to work as scientist. You have to do post graduation in one of the specialised subjects in Pharmacy.
