Yes, Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya follows the Government of India's Reservation Policy for Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs) for admission to BPharm and other course. The reservation are as follows: 
 
  • SCs: 15% 
     
  • STs: 72% 
     
  • OBCs: 27% 
     
The university also offers a 5% relaxation in qualifying exam marks for candidates in the SC, ST, and PWD categories.

For admission into the BPharm course, check the eligibility criteria for the BPharm course to ensure candidates meet the academic requirements. There are many subjects that are taught in the BPharm course at Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, some are similar to subjects studied in Class 12 and 12. However, certain subjects like  Pharmacology, Biopharmaceutics, and Medicinal Chemistry comparatively need more effort than others. Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) is a challenging and rigorous programme that requires dedication, hard work, and a strong foundation in science. Many students found it difficult to learn drug names and composition. Overall, success in BPharm requires a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and critical thinking abilities.

Candidates seeking admission to BPharm at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University are required to meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent system from any recognised Central/ State Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology with a minimum of 45% aggregate or equivalent grade for Gen/ OBC category candidates and 40% aggregate or equivalent grade for SC/ ST category candidates can get admission to the BPharm programme.

Here are some details regarding placements at DHSGSU, the Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya: 

  • Nine students were placed in 2023 of a UG 3-year course. 38 students were placed in 2022 of UG 3-years. 
  • 17 companies hired students in 2021–2022. Just six businesses came to the campus in 2022–2023 to look for placements.
  • INR 8 LPA is the highest salary package; INR 4 LPA is the average; and INR 2 LPA is the lowest.
  • Between 50 and 60 percent of students are placed.
  • Around 80 - 90 percent of students secure internships.
  • Placement on campus is available to students starting in their fifth semester and seventh semester for BPhar

National Testing Agency will commence the CUET 2025 registration in last week of February 2025. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2025. The last date for CUET 2025 registration is expected to be in first week of April 2025. 

Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form

The precise deadline for submitting an application for BPharm courses at Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya for the academic year 2024–2025 is not specified. Currently, the university is releasing the cutoff for BPharm admission. Hence, candidates with valid scores in CUET scores still can apply for BPharm courses. In conclusion, Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya will accept applications for most of its BPharm courses until the last date of August 2024 for the following academic year. Entrance exam schedules may cause changes to the dates.
