They have world-class indoor sports complexes with Olympic-size swimming pools, multiple badminton, basketball, volleyball, squash courts, shooting ranges, and wrestling/boxing arenas - all part of your practical training setup. Outdoor grounds like cricket, football, hockey fields, and athletic tracks give you plenty of space for real-world practice too. There are well-equipped gymnasiums, fitness centers, yoga rooms, and wellness spaces to build strength, flexibility and overall fitness as part of your coursework. These facilities are often used in physical education classes, coaching practice, fitness assessments, and sports events, helping students gain hands-on experience while pursuing their degree. 

At Lovely Professional University (LPU), the Physical Education courses are designed to prepare students for careers in sports, fitness, health, and wellness management. The programs include undergraduate courses like B.Sc. in Health & Physical Education and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed), as well as postgraduate programs like M.P.Ed, focusing on advanced training, research, and sports science. These courses cover areas such as exercise physiology, sports psychology, coaching techniques, kinesiology, yoga, nutrition, and fitness management, along with practical training, internships, and participation in sports events. LPU also conducts Physical Efficiency Tests (LPUPET) for admission to these programs to assess candidates' fitness, agility, and overall aptitude for physical education, ensuring that students are well-prepared for professional roles in sports coaching, wellness consultancy, physical education teaching, and sports administration. 

Yes — LPU does have an application fee associated with Physical Education admissions (for courses like *B.Sc. Health & Physical Education, BPES/Physical Education & Sports, B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed etc.). To apply and appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) (part of the admission process for physical education-related programs), candidates must pay a fee to register and get the entrance/exam kit. The cost for this LPUPET/LPUNEST application (which covers the required application and exam kit) is typically around ₹1,000 for the soft copy and ₹1,500 for the printed kit. This payment is part of the process used to complete the application for physical education admissions.)
