Through distance learning, Nalanda Open University (NOU) in Patna provides a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics.  Since NOU is an open university, it usually has an open admissions policy that prioritizes giving a diverse variety of students access to education. As a result, there are typically no set cutoff scores for admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics degree. Generally speaking, prospective students must have finished their 10+2 coursework in the science discipline from an accredited board. It is best to check the official NOU website or get in touch with their admissions office directly for the most precise and current information

Attaining the B.S-M.S programme of IISER will turn out to be quite effective for carrying an astronomy-related career, primarily provided followed by doing a PhD in a similar programs. For doing a sound education consisting of theoretical principles at high intensity along with experimental research inputs on the platform is required if advancing into study with astrophysics-related domains. The students graduating from IISER tend to continue in Ph.D. programs, not only in India but also abroad. Strong research foundations and networking help them do this. You must pass the IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) in order to be admitted to IITs for an M.Sc in Physics. IITs normally require applicants to obtain a Bachelors degree with physics as a major in order to be eligible. Your pursuit of a B.Sc in Physics with Chemistry and Botany at IGNOU qualifies you for general education requirements. Check to see if your IGNOU degree particularly with regard to curricular content, satisfies IIT's particular qualifying standards.

Physics, chemistry and mathematics are the disciplines that the IIT JAM exam evaluates, thus you should study for these as well.?
