You need to opt for PCM in HSC. In graduation, you should pursue B.Tech. You can also complete +2 (1-year) course from NIOS.

The eligibility criteria for CPL is 12th with PCM subjects. If you have done Diploma after 12th standard then you are eligible for CPL else you are not eligible.

Hello Vishal Yadav,
In 25 lakhs, you can only get CPL with 200 hours flying in Cessna Aircraft but you cannot be a commercial pilot and fit for flying commercial aircrafts in Rs.25 lakhs. You need at least Rs.80 lakhs to be a pure pilot with a job.

Yes, there are good opportunities in the commercial pilot field. After completing initial training in pilot course and getting CPL license, the average salary range starts from Rs.1 lakhs per month. It has good career option with definitely certain risk also, but it is a good career option.

Hello Anant,
Yes, you can be a pilot by doing CPL training after engineering but engineering will not give you any advantage to this profession.
The total expenditure to become a commercial pilot will be around 80 lacs .

Hello Lakshay,
To be a commercial pilot, you must have completed your Class 12th or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in mathematics and physics.
Training in commercial flying can be taken with Flying clubs, the Rashtriya Udan Academy or Private Flying academies.
The training goes through 3 stages of licence. The licences have to be procured in the following order:
1. Student Pilot Licence (SPL).
2. Private Pilot Licence (PPL).
3. Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
After completing class 12th (with PCM) students can apply for SPL. Student pilot licence can be taken at flying clubs in every State. It is a theory exam.

To give the exam you need to be a 10th pass out and you should have completed your ITI in any trade from a recognized university.
If you have a Diploma degree in mechanical/automobile/electrical or electronics then also you can apply for this exam.
Your age should between 18 to 30 years.
However, there is age relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Selection procedure includes written exam and personal interview.
