The CPL training with only Single engine training is available for around Rs.23 lacs. If you opt for the multi engine training, the fee is around Rs. 28 lacs. Academy of Carver Aviation, Gurgaon, Mumbai, the total fees is INR 24.50 Lacs. So, its mostly above 20 Lacs. To become a Commercial Pilot, you should clear CPL Course. CPL stands for Commercial Pilot License. It will take Maximum one year to complete the course. Eligibility: HSc / Equivalent with Maths, Physics and Chemistry (Minimum 50%)
Age : Minimum 16 Years to start CPL training

For getting a job in airline you will have to go through the selection procedure of the airline. It comprises of Technical Exam, GD, PI, Simulator check and Medicals. For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires 50% marks in PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible. It depends upon the institutions that how they are linked with airlines. But some airlines visit also for the internship programmes.

Placement/.job depends on you. A flying school shall not provide any placement assistance. You will have to look at the vacancy notifications as and when published by the airlines and apply to them as per your eligibility. People have got placed within one month of getting their license and some others keep waiting for a longer duration due to unawareness or no vacancies being announced by airlines.

You need to understand that Pilot training is governed and regulated by DGCA and it is irrespective of the flying school you choose to train with. Blue Diamond Aviation will also follow the similar eligibility criteria and Requirements and decided by DGCA.

In a year, based on recent statistics, approximately 26 lakh graduates pass out of the Indian Education system. Can you guess how many of them ended up with a job (A job commensurate to their education) on completion of their graduation? 30%? 20%? Nope. An appalling 8%.
Of the 15000 odd CPL holders in India, roughly about 5000 are working in the airlines. So, you do the math and figure out, if it is as tough as otherwise to get a job.
