WBJEEB conducts PUBDET once a year for admissions to undergraduate programmes (BA and BSc) offered at Presidency University. Every year, the university gives admissions to nearly 550 students for different BA and BSc programmes.

PUBDET and PUMDET are both conducted for admissions to Presidency University. However, through PUBDET, the courses offered are of the undergraduate level (BA and BSc) and through PUMDET, the courses offered are of the postgraduate level (MA and MSc).

The exam body releases the PUBDET admit card atleast a week before the exam. It is suggested that applicants keep checking the WBJEEB website every now and then for regular updates. PUBDET 2025 admit card was released on June 13, 2025 for the exam scheduled on June 21 and 22, 2025.

If you used Resnick-Halliday-Walker or Sears-Zemansky for IIT preparation, review the theoretical chapter. Otherwise, any ordinary Plus Two textbook will suffice. However, familiarity with the two masterpieces I listed earlier will benefit you once your course begins. For issues, H. C. Verma is more than adequate.

Understand the PUBDET Pattern and Marking Scheme. Step 2: Get the prescribed PUBDET syllabus for the applied course. Step 3: Get all the study material you can to prepare better for PUBDET. Step 4: Create a day to day and weekly time table on how much material you can study on a daily basis.As per the previous year's entrance exam, candidates found the PUBDET entrance exam moderate and simple. Students have to study from the syllabus as taught in class X and class XII.
