No, the PUBDET result is not published in the form of a merit list. The exam body announces the result in the form of Rank Cards for each examinee separately. They must log on to the official website to download their rank cards. These rank cards must also be produced during the counselling session.

If two candidates happen to get the same score in PUBDET, a tie-breaking system will be applied. The candidate who has lesser incorrect answers (keep in mind that incorrect answers are marked -1/2 while correct answers are awarded 2 marks) will be ranked higher. In case, the number of incorrect answers for both the candidates is the same, they will be awarded the same rank and will be eligible for counselling and admissions.

No, making corrections when the application correction window is open does not cost any extra fee.

The application fee for PUBDET is INR 500 (excluding bank charges for internet services). Applicants must pay this fee while filling the application form. It can be paid using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card or by cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan.

The exam body provides an application correction window after the last date to fill the application form during which applicants can make changes to their PUBDET application forms. The application correction window is only open for a few days. Once it has passed, you cannot change your exam centre choices. Dates for the application correction window will be announced by the exam body on their official website after the application form is available. You can keep tabs on it.

PUBDET and PUMDET are both conducted for admissions to Presidency University. However, through PUBDET, the courses offered are of the undergraduate level (BA and BSc) and through PUMDET, the courses offered are of the postgraduate level (MA and MSc).
