You can find the list of basic documents that you must have with you during the Pulp & Paper Technology admission process:
• PG Mark Sheet with at least 55% marks (For PhD degree)
• UG Mark Sheet with 55-60% marks (For PhD8 Class 12 Mark Sheet with 50-60% marks in PCM
• Class 10 Mark Sheet with 50% marks
• Valid identity proof like Aadhar, PAN, Passport, etc.
• Exam Scorecard and Admit Card Copy (if applicable)
• Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Transfer or Character Certificates (may be needed)

For getting admission to courses in Pulp & Paper Technology, you should start by checking the eligibility criteria of the colleges and meet the same. You should also give relevant entrance tests and get very good marks in the same.

For a diploma in Paper and Pulp Technology, you need to pass Class 10 with at least 50% marks, while for BTech, you should have at least 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 in the PCM subjects.
For an M Tech degree, you must have completed graduation in Pulp and Paper Technology, Chemical Engg., or a related field with at least 55% marks. Further, you can also go for a Ph.D. for which you must have a Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks.

The duration of Pulp & Paper Technology courses varies on the basis of the course level at which you're planning to study the course. For diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology after Class 10, the time span is 3 years. For UG-level courses, you need to spend 4 years in general.
For PG-level courses like MTech, the duration is 2 years, while for a PG-Diploma course, you need to invest 1-2 years. You can also consider going for a PhD degree in the field that spans 3 to 6 years.

There are only two private colleges that provide Pulp and Paper technology courses in India currently. This is a growing field and hopefully as students get to know more about this dynamic discipline, there will be an increase in demand owing to which more colleges will offer full-fledged degree courses in Pulp & Paper Technology.
