For a diploma in Paper and Pulp Technology, you need to pass Class 10 with at least 50% marks, while for BTech, you should have at least 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 in the PCM subjects.
For an M Tech degree, you must have completed graduation in Pulp and Paper Technology, Chemical Engg., or a related field with at least 55% marks. Further, you can also go for a Ph.D. for which you must have a Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks.

The duration of Pulp & Paper Technology courses varies on the basis of the course level at which you're planning to study the course. For diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology after Class 10, the time span is 3 years. For UG-level courses, you need to spend 4 years in general.

There are only two private colleges that provide Pulp and Paper technology courses in India currently. This is a growing field and hopefully as students get to know more about this dynamic discipline, there will be an increase in demand owing to which more colleges will offer full-fledged degree courses in Pulp & Paper Technology.
