Direct admission is only available for B.Tech Lateral Entry (second-year admission). Candidates who have completed a three-year engineering Diploma with a minimum of 60% aggregate can apply for direct admission. B.Tech first-year students must qualify through JEE Main or CUET. There is no management quota for direct admission.

No, there is no direct admission for first-year BTech programmes of Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology and Management (RKGITM). Admission is purely entrance-based, i.e., candidates have to qualify CUET or JEE Main, and then counselling is done through UPTAC. But for BTech lateral entry, those who possess a three-year Diploma in engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks and wish to take direct admission on the basis of their past qualifying examination score can do so.
