1. Scheduled Castes (SC) - 13%
2. Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 7%

One of my friends went into CU this year. I asked him about your doubt and he said that you need 60% in your boards. Further, when CU opens it ia admission portal then for some short period of time they just need you to have more than 60%. But after the results of JEE, vit, BITSAT ipu etc. Exams are out and students know where to go, then to fill seats they make a merit list according to your 12th board percentage marks to handle large bunch of students.
