Application Process: There are two types of applications offered by RBU:

  • Offline Application

Merit-Based Selection : Selection for most programs is based on your academic performance in previous qualifying exams.

Entrance Exam Based Selection: Some programs might require you to appear for an entrance exam conducted by RBU  or accept scores from national level exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT for MBA programs.

Admission to CSE courses offered at Rayat Bahra University is merit-based. To apply online, candidates are expected to check the official website of the college. Whereas, if the candidates want to apply offline, then they have to collect the application form from the campus by paying the application fee. The Rayat Bahra University courses eligibility criteria is as follows:

• For admission to undergraduate courses, candidates must have a minimum 60% mark in the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
• For admission to postgraduate courses, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant field and achieve a minimum of 50% marks  (45% for candidates from reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
• For admission to diploma courses, candidates must appear in the 10+2 examination  (in any stream) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the qualifying examination).
