Admission procedure differentiation from college college. Otherwise the common eligibility is:
- Graduation in any field with at least 50% aggregate marks to be eligible to apply.
- Then, you need to clear the selection process of the B-school, starting with an entrance test accepted by the B-School. For e.g. CAT, MAT, SNAP, CMAT.
The selection process in B-schools is generally based on:
- Past academic record
- Scores in management entrance tests
- Performance in Group Discussion
- Performance in Personal Interview
- Work experience
Each B-school shortlists candidates for the second/ final stage of selection, which may be independent of each other. The process may include:
- Written Ability Test (WAT)
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Personal Interviews (PI)

Studying retail brand management helps one to earn good money. The salary band can range between 03- 15 lakhs per annum. But salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.
