Yes, Sai University Chennai is a private university that was established by the Tamil Nadu State Legislature through the Sai University Act. The Sai University Chennai is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). All the UG and PG courses offered by the university are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). These UG courses that are approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) are BTech, BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), and BA LLB (Hons).

Sai University Chennai is spread across 103 acre of land. The university has an academic block with a capacity of 250 students. The university has air-conditioned classrooms, labs, and others. Sai University Chennai has outdoor and indoor volleyball, football, cricket, shuttle courts, and others. These buildings also have faculty offices, a cafeteria, staff workstations, dining spaces, and several spaces with various essential amenities. The second academic block has a 500-600 spacing capacity.

  • Candidates who have appeared/cleared class 12th board exams can apply for our B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.)or B.Tech. programs. Students awaiting the Class 12th results can still apply with Class 10th marks.
  • Students have no restriction with respect to the board of study. However, students from IGSE/IB boards should provide an equivalence certificate at the time of joining.
  • Maths and Physics in Class XII are mandatory for students who opt for B.Tech. in Computer Science or Computing and Data Science. Maths in Class XII is mandatory for students who opt for B.Tech. in Data Scie
