There are a few key documents you must submit when applying to Samata College's MBA programme in Visakhapatnam.  These include your mark sheets and certificates from Class 10 and 12, your bachelor's degree mark sheets and certificates, a legitimate photo ID, evidence of birthdate, and your scorecard from the APICET entrance exam.  Recent passport-size photos, a caste certificate (for SC, ST, or PD candidates), a sponsorship document, a transfer certificate, and a migration certificate (if applicable) may also be needed.  A certificate of work experience may also be helpful if you have previous job experience.

To get into Samata College's MBA programme through Andhra Pradesh ICET, you need to score at least 50 out of 200 marks, which is 25%. For SC and ST candidates, there's no minimum score requirement. The cutoff ranks can vary each year depending on how many people apply and their scores. For example, in 2024, the closing rank for general category students was around 18,000, while other categories had different cutoffs. The overall cutoff rank was about 30,000.

You must pass the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam with a minimum score of 50 out of 200, or roughly 25%, in order to be admitted to Samata College's MBA program. It is a little simpler for students in the SC and ST categories because there is no minimum score requirement. The college's cutoff rank was approximately 30,000 last year, but it can vary annually based on the number of applications and the students' performance.

Check your eligibility for the course you want to enroll in at Samata College first. Generally, you must have earned your 10+2 for undergraduate programs or a relevant bachelor's degree for postgraduate courses like MBA or M.Sc. Passing the Andhra Pradesh ICET is a prerequisite for an MBA. Once qualified, prepare your supporting documentation, including grades, certificates, and pictures, and complete the college's online application. The majority of courses have merit-based admissions, but MBA admissions also need counseling following the entrance exam.

Getting direct admission to Samata College depends on the course and seat availability. For some undergraduate programs, if seats remain after regular admissions, you might get direct admission based on your previous academic performance. Nonetheless, passing entrance exams like the Andhra Pradesh ICET and then receiving counseling are typically requirements for professional programs like the MBA.
