In 2024, Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) had a very tough GUJCET cutoff for B.E./B.Tech, especially for computer Science and engineering. According to the Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Management and Research (CPIMR), which is a part of SVGU the last round closing rank for the General Home State category was roughly 50557. Every year cutoffs change according to the exam's difficulty, the volume of applications and the availability of seats. Expect comparable ranges for 2025, with higher rankings needed for computer science. For the most recent cutoff information, visit the ACPC portal or the official SVGU website.

Because of its entrance-based admissions procedure Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) has a somewhat competitive admissions process for B.E/B.Tech students. Candidates must have the valid JEE Main or GUJCET scores and at least 45% in 10+2 with PCM (40% for SC/ST/EBC), Computer Science is the most sought-after subject and the competition is based on the quantity of candidates and available seats. Because admission exam rankings and counseling are used for merit-based selection, preparation is essential. An alternative is management quota seats however these come with greater costs and need direct communication with SVGU.

The claim that Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) offers 100% scholarships that cover full tuition costs is not supported by any solid evidence.
