The starting basic pay is INR 19,900. Earlier, the basic pay was INR 13,075. SBI Clerk salary is decided by the government based on the pay commissions. The selection process comprises prelims and mains exams.

The basic salary of SBI Clerk is INR 17,900. After three years, basic salary is INR 20,900. Again, after three years, the minimum pay is INR 24,590. After certain period, the salary reaches upto INR 47,920.

The revised payscale of SBI Clerk is INR 17,900-1000/3-20,900-1230/3-24,590-1490/4-30,550-1730/7-42,600-3270/1-45,930-1990/1-47,920. Earlier, the payscale was INR 11,765-655/ 3-13,730-815/ 3-16,175-980/ 4-20,095-1145/7-28,110-2120/ 1-30,230-1310/1-31,450.

The total starting emoluments given to the Junior Associates in the metro city such as Mumbai are around INR 29,000 per month, inclusive of DA and other allowances as per the current rate. Besides, two additional increments are given to newly recruited graduate Junior Associates. Earlier, the total starting emoluments for metro cities was INR 26,000. Allowances also vary depending on the place of posting. Candidates are eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, Provident Fund, Pension under New Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), Medical, Leave-Fare, and other facilities as per the requirement of the bank.

There is no difference between the IBPS Clerk and SBI Clerk exam pattern. The level of both exams is the same. The pattern of both the exams is divided into prelims and Mains. The prelims exam carries three sections Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The level and difficulty of the exam are also the same. In terms of career growth, an SBI Clerk may be promoted to a post equivalent to a Probationary Officer within 3 to 4 years of appointment. However, it may take more years for an IBPS Clerk to become an Officer in the Organisation. Recruitment is only for the selection of candidates for SBI Probationary Officers. The S

While candidates begins to fill SBI Clerk Application form, then they has to write a declaration in their own handwriting which has to be uploaded along with the application with a file size of 50 to 100 kbs and dimensions of 800 x 400 pixels. SBI Clerk handwritten declaration text is given below:
“I, ______ (Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph, and left thumb impression are of mine”.

SBI Clerk handwritten declaration has to be written in the candidate’s handwriting itself only. The text should be written in English only. The text should be written just like as it is mentioned in the notification. It should not be written in Capital Letters.If SBI found the SBI Clerk Handwritten Declaration inappropriate or written by anybody else or in any other language or in the capital letter, the application will be considered invalid and cancelled.
