The candidates can see here the highest salary in SSC CGL exam is of Assistant Audit Officier (AAO) - INR 56,100 to 1,77,500. Other allowances are addded based on the city of posting. In comparison, the SBI Clerk's salary ranges from INR 25,500 to 81,100 per month, depending on the post and city of posting. Therefore, the Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) position in SSC CGL offers a higher salary range compared to the SBI Clerk position.

According to the SBI Clerk transfer policy, SBI Clerks or Junior Associates are not eligible for transfer be it within the state or outside the state. Earlier, SBI Clerks were allowed to request for transfer after successfully completing 5 years of service at their current location of posting. SBI Clerks and Junior Associates who were recruited through a special recruitment drive for Kashmir Valley, Tura, and Ladakh are allowed to request a transfer only after successfully completing 8 years of service at their current base location. SBI Clerk Mains result 2024 was announced on June 27, 2024. The result was announced on the official website in PDF form. The result PDF was comprise the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The steps to download the result are given below:
- Visit the official website of SBI
- Go to the 'Careers' page
- From the 'Join SBI' tab go to the 'SBI Clerk notification'
- From the drop-down, select 'SBI Clerk prelims result' link

SBI Clerk Mains exam was conducted on February 25, 2024 for candidates who qualified the prelims exam. According to students who appeared in the SBI Clerk 2024 exam, overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult. The GA and Quant papers were tough. The Reasoning section was average in terms of difficulty level. The English Language section was easy. Questions in GA were asked based on the Current Affairs of December 2023 and January 2024. Questions were related to the RBI policies.

Both prelims and Mains paper of SBI Clerk Examination are conducted through online mode only. There are 4 shifts for SBI Clerk Prelims examination followed by 2 shifts for SBI Clerk Mains examination:
Prelims Exam-
•Shift 1- 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM
•Shift 2- 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
•Shift 3: 12:30 PM to 12:30 PM
•Shift 4: 04:30 PM to 04:30 PM
Mains Exam
•Shift 1: 9 AM to 11.40 AM
•Shift 2: 2.30 PM to 5.10 PM
