Eligibility criteria for MBA are: Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's Degree examination of the Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other University duly recognised by the Mahatma Gandhi University. A minimum of Fifty percent marks in the qualifying exam is compulsory according to university regulations. Candidates with 50% marks aggregate in any Master's degree from the MG University or any other University recognised by it can also apply. A valid CAT / MAT score is a must for admission.
And there is a part time PGDM available.

Yes, SCMS has separate and outstanding accommodation facilities for boys and girls. The girls hostel is in Prathap Nagar itself which is within the campus,capacity of 300 students. Enhanced with modern amenities it has both AC and non-AC accommodation to choose from.

Candidate must have a above 50 % score for MAT by AIMA then you can surely apply at SCMS,afterwards you need to attend the GD & PI round. Prepare well and all the best for your exam.

The exams that are being accepted are MAT by AIMA ,ATMA by AIMS, XAT by XLRI ,CAT by IIMs.

Yes, sure. PGDM expands to Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (meaning it is not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Even IIMs, XLRI's doesn't offer MBA degrees they only give PGP Diploma or PGDM since they are autonomous and independent bodies. On similar lines AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) is allowing approved colleges to run a PGDM course. Hi dear, you get to choose your area of specialisation in the 2nd year. The first year is same for all. You will get a list of subjects in the 2nd year from which you will have to choose. All the best.

The specialisation available in SCMS are: Finance, HR, Retail, Systems and operations, Banking and Insurance, entrepreneurship. Also SCMS is offering a dual specialisation where marketing is must for all.
