Hi, yes you can definitely pursue a short term course in food production from a hotel management institute near your location. If you want to pursue this course as a hobby, then it is great, but if you want to pursue it to make a career in culinary, I would not recommend you that.

For getting good job, you can do short term courses like Diploma in fashion /interior /jewelry designing, which has good scope in metro cities or can do animation courses or short term computer courses. All the best for your future.
