Placement differ from branch to branch and year to year. For branches like CS IT, the placement ratio is fine. Although the package offered is mostly around Rs. 4 Lakhs. For other branches, ratio might not be that good, but average package is around Rs. 5-6 Lakhs.

Hostel fees from last year has raised to 10000 approximately per semester, which includes only the room allotted. Mess service is being provided in the hostel, but it has some different fee structure.

To get into SGSITS, you have to give JEE mains and on the basis of your overall AIR, you will be allotted the branches you have chosen. There are 3 rounds of counselling along with upgradation.

SGSITS has a better position than DAVV but the quality of students in both the colleges are more or less the same. Placements provided by SGSITS are a bit better but it is better to take better branch at DAVV rather taking any low branch in SGSITS.

Closing rank for SGSITS is near to 40000, if you are willing to get some nice branch for general category students. You can also check the cutoff marks for each Branch in the last year counselling report.

SGSITS has got nice reputation not only because of placements but also the quality of students in SGSITS is better. Davv has also got nice name but if you are getting some nice branch in SGSITS then it is better to go for SGSITS.

I can tell you about CSE in SGSITS. You really have to be under 18000 to get the CSE in SGSITS and the department is also very strict. You have to forget about mass bunk and you start worrying about assignment. You will get overall nice and competitive environment but if you are targeting for high package then IT has got nice placements.

Hello Rajat,
As the cutoff drops the minimum rank may be lower than last year but it will also increase the no of students applying to Madhya Pradesh counselling, so overall there will be not any major difference in the cutoff of SGSITS.
