College sliding is an option for sure, but I am not sure that whether intake is there from private college too. Just go through the website, you can find relevant information related to this or try calling help desk.

CSE in SGSITS is quite good in terms of placements. Faculty members are not upto the mark but yes, quite good competitive environment will make you learn better.

What type of information you are looking for? If it is about environment then yeah you are going to get ambitious ready to learn kind of people around, if talking about placements then depends on branch and obviously the market leaders. Overall a nice college with nice faculties and ranked as best engineering college of madhya pradesh.

Being the student of electrical engineering department, I can tell you, you are not going to be disappointed with the faculties if you have interest in electrical. Yeah, placement ratio is not that good but you will get through it if you remain consistent.

Placement ratio for civil engineering is not good in SGSITS. Very few students get placed in the pool of some 150 students, but if you have interest in civil then you are going to get experienced faculty members.

I guess, it would be a bit difficult for you to get a branch in SGSITS, but you can wait till last round. You can also check last year's counselling results, it will give you a better idea.

Yes, you can. But, you have to go for the counselling procedure which is held last. There is a category to apply on the basis of board marks. You can apply for that round.
