Yes, SMU-DE degrees are valid for the employment in private sectors as well as in government sectors. As per the latest directorate released in 2018, SMU-DEs degree programme is valid for applying for central government jobs in India.

You can join B.Ed, but if you want to do this course with job, you have an option for that.
This is an Open University established by an act of legislature for benefit of students who are not in a position to attend regular college.
