Symbiosis Entrance Test is conducted by Symbiosis University for admission to its integrated five-year law program. The exam is usually held just a day before AILET. Coming to the pattern of the exam, the question paper is divided into five section with each section having equal weightage. The total number of questions is 150 which are to be attempted in 2 hours 30 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. The five sections that are tested are Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and English. SET is the entrance exam for Law courses in Symbiosis University. I do not think that there are books available in the market that deal specifically with SET. However, you can use the books available for CLAT while you are preparing for SET. If you have enrolled yourself in any coaching institute, the material provided by that coaching institute would be sufficient. If you go through the entire material, it would be more than enough. Apart from that, you can use books like Wren and Martin and Word Power Made Easy for English, Objective Lucent for GK, MK Pandey to cover both verbal as well as non-verbal reasoning. Here are a few eligibility conditions for appearing in this exam:
1. Candidate must pass their 12th exam with at least 50% marks for general and for SC/ST passing marks is 45%.
2. Candidate must be less than 20 years at the time of SET exam for general and for SC/ST is 22 year.
3. A candidate who appeared in the exam and result is awaited can also appear in the exam with a proof of awaiting the result.
4. This is an offline exam so the candidate has to follow the institution strictly at the time of exam if any mistake they are rejected from the exam.
