Symbiosis Entrance Test is conducted by Symbiosis University for admission to its integrated five-year law program. The exam is usually held just a day before AILET. Coming to the pattern of the exam, the question paper is divided into five section with each section having equal weightage. The total number of questions is 150 which are to be attempted in 2 hours 30 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. The five sections that are tested are Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and English. The final scores are calculated on the basis of the number of correct answers. SET does not release any rank list as such. The cut-off marks are released for Symbi Pune and Symbi Hyderabad. The students clearing the cut-off have to appear for GD-PI.

SET is the entrance exam for Law courses in Symbiosis University. I do not think that there are books available in the market that deal specifically with SET. However, you can use the books available for CLAT while you are preparing for SET. If you have enrolled yourself in any coaching institute, the material provided by that coaching institute would be sufficient. If you go through the entire material, it would be more than enough. Apart from that, you can use books like Wren and Martin and Word Power Made Easy for English, Objective Lucent for GK, MK Pandey to cover both verbal as well as non-verbal reasoning. For legal, you can use Andhra Pradesh Bhardwaj.
The important topics are comprehension part in English, Current affairs for the last 6 months for GK, Puzzles for Analytical Reasoning. However, all the subjects should be given equal importance to crack SET with a good rank.

SET is an entrance exam for admission into law at Symbiosis International University.
Here are a few eligibility conditions for appearing in this exam:
1. Candidate must pass their 12th exam with at least 50% marks for general and for SC/ST passing marks is 45%.
2. Candidate must be less than 20 years at the time of SET exam for general and for SC/ST is 22 year.
3. A candidate who appeared in the exam and result is awaited can also appear in the exam with a proof of awaiting the result.
4. This is an offline exam so the candidate has to follow the institution strictly at the time of exam if any mistake they are rejected from the exam.
Those students who are eligible and scored good marks in the exam. Then Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI What) will be organized in which personal interview held for passed candidate and then admission is done for the selected candidate.
