Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Masters degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. ). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. Candidates who are appearing or awaiting results for their final year examination of Masters degree are also eligible to appear for UGC NET 2018. SET Eligibility Criteria for appearing in SET 2018
Candidates must have passed class 12th or 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational. In the qualifying examination (12th or 10+2), General category candidates must have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category candidates should have at least 40% marks. Candidates appearing in SET Law SLAT 2018 need to have passed Class 12th or 10+2 level from CBSE or any other recognised board with a minimum of 45%. The candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories need minimum marks of 40% in aggregate of the subjects. Aspirants who are appearing for their 12th board can also sit for SET Law 2018. However, they will be required to submit their final marks/certificates at the time of admissions.
