Sri Vidya College of Engineering & Technology offers MBA, BTech, and MTech courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in the TANCET exam, GATE exam, or TNEA counseling for admission to MBA, MTech, and BTech, respectively.
To apply through counseling, candidates are required to visit the official website of the exam conducting body and fill out the application form along with all the required documents and fees. If shortlisted, you will be called for further procedu

The required documents during the B.E. / B.Tech application process at the Sri Vidya College of Engineering & Technology include:-
1. Class 10 & 12 Marksheets
2. Allotment letter for TNEA Counseling.
3. Proof of Identity:- A government-issued ID as an Aadhar card, voter ID, or passport.
4. Caste Certificate (if applicable): A Valid caste certificate application for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) has to be provided.
5. Domicile Certificate.
6. Passport-size Pictures:- Generally, 2-4 recent passport-sized images are needed to fulfill the application form.

To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at Sri Vidya College of Engineering & Technology, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TNEA counseling process and score valid marks to be eligible for the course. The TNEA counseling is conducted by Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for Sri Vidya College of Engineering & Technology. The result date for this is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024, and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process was started on 7th May and the ranks were allotted on 27th June.
